How the Covid changed me.

Dec 21 2024

I got used to being alone - a lot more then before the Covid.

I bought a lot of journals ( notebooks ) so I would have something to write in if they

close down the stores again.

Seeing no humans outside unless they have a purpose like shopping or to cheek up

on other people.

I saw wildlife like coyotes, a cougar, some hawks an eagle, and wild ferrets.

What did I miss

The church bells, calling people to church on Sundays and the ringing of the bells

on Wednesdays, the day the bell ringers practice. The church which housed the

bells was on the same street that I lived on.

The pigeons became more vocal and greeted people as they came to the large church

in which I was living in that got changed in to apartments.

The sounds of children waiting for the school bus in the mornings and being dropped off

in the afternoon was absent as well as the sound of cars being driven by people going to

work.

These are the things that changed while I was having to stay indoors during the Covid.
